Superbly designed with up-to-the-moment, contemporary styling, the essential charms of the Manhattan lie in the uniqueness of its sturdily cast yet elegantly refined ceramic panelling and the richness of its glazes. It is a stove that brings a new dimension of colour and warmth to home heating. Featuring a highly attractive combination of straight lines and gentle curves, at the centre of the Manhattan is a finely detailed cast iron frame surrounding a panoramic window. This allows you to enjoy to the full a realistic picture of dancing flames and glowing coals or logs. To complete the look, a cast iron top grille permits warm, convected air to flow into the room. The Manhattan is available in a choice of three carefully selected colours. Two are in a modern matt glaze whilst the third combines a translucent gloss with natural surface crazing giving a characteristic, aged look. Ceramic glazes are created by natural chemical reactions. Shade variations are therefore unavoidable and do not constitute a fault. Indeed, they add to the charm and individuality of every piece. Similarly, although 'crazing' is a particular feature of the Antique gloss glaze, it is a process that may occur with the matt finish and is quite normal. Owing to variations in studio lighting and printing inks, colours may vary from those shown.
